The Bible is the Inspired Word of God

2 Timothy 3:16 teaches us that “All Scripture” is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.  We believe that the Bible shall be the standard for our lives and is God’s words speaking directly to us so that we can be equipped for every good work that God wants us to carry out in our lives.

Father, Son and the Holy Spirit

We believe that Jesus is the son of God, and is the mediator between God and mankind and allows us to have a personal relationship with God. (John 14:6; 1 Timothy 2:5).  We believe Jesus died for the forgiveness of our sins and it is only through our own faith, act of repentance and our participation in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ that we can be forgiven of our sins and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)

Community: Fellowship and Continued Teaching

We read about the first century church devoting themselves to the apostles teaching, to the fellowship, the breaking of bread and to prayer, having everything in common, the continue to meet daily in the temple courts. (Acts 2:42-47).   It is with this spirit that we strive to continue to emulate the first century church and allow our walk with God to be shared with each other as believers, but also for others to see our lives and want to know more about Jesus and for their lives to be saved as well. (1 Timothy 4:16).  Before Jesus ascended to heaven, he commanded his disciples to make disciples and baptize them, but also to continue to teach them to obey everything he has commanded us. We strive, as we make the Word of God our standard, to continue to strengthen and build a spiritual support community. (Matthew 28:18-20)
